I Feel BLESSED

Hello blogverse.... (is there such a word?)

Tomorrow marks the start of the fourth week of term 3, which means that my 'O' Levels are nearing. My holiday was pretty epic, I had tons of fun. I only spent 1.5 weeks in Indonesia, but it was still awesome. I met my friends, my cats, and last but not least, my family! ({})

Before that, me and my family actually had vacation here in Singapore. We stayed in a condo, not the one I live in, but it's somewhere on Orchard Road. My family stayed for 6 days 5 nights. The first day, we went to Universal Studios Singapore! :) To be honest, I'm of the opinion that USS is not that awesome, but not that bad either. I mean, the attractions are mostly the same as in other theme parks, and when I first came in, I thought the place was massive, and it turned out that it wasn't really that big. Anyway, what makes it different and special is the characters. Like Shrek, Puss in Boots, Charlie Chapin, the characters from Madagascar, and a lot more. But overall, I'd say it was pretty good.

Right now, school kind of owns me. We have this Afternoon Study Program (ASP) Tuesdays to Fridays from 1430 to 1800. Three hours and fifteen minutes of study and only 15 minutes break. The first thing that popped in my mind when the teachers announced the ASP was:torture. Because it is sort of torture. I'm only spending 10 and a half hours at home. And by the time I arrive home, all I can think of is It's time to have fun! But to be honest, my opinion on ASP has changed. With ASP, I nearly always complete my homework in time, and it does help me to study and revise. And since there are teachers in the hall during ASP, whenever I have any queries I can just ask them. So I'd like to thank the teachers for being there for us during ASP :)

Aside from that... I'm currently doing the 30 Days Hunger Games Challenge on Tumblr. Oh, and Harry Potter is in theaters! Can't wait to watch it myself :) And last but not least....

I PASSED THE 3rd ROUND OF QUALIFICATION TEST FOR THE AFS STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAM!

I feel so blessed, cheerful, contented... happy!

However.... it doesn't mean I'm definitely going abroad. Not yet. There's still the national selection thing. I really do hope I pass :D To be honest, I think the stuff that I said wasn't that meaningful or anything. In fact, the more I tried to say something meaningful, it sounded kind of like crap :| Oh well. The good thing is that I passed :) Maybe the judges thought that based on my actions, I deserve it. Oh, and another interesting fact is... one of my teammates during the 3rd selection said I was the one who acted like a leader the most (grammatically incorrect sentence?) What I did was actually remind the team our objective, what time we have left, and I just voiced my opinion... But okay, never mind. I hope I do have some leadership quality in me. And I really hope I'll be able to go on this Student Exchange Program. Aamiin.
